The basic requirement for obtaining a permanent residence permit under this decree is the acquisition of unencumbered real estate worth at least EUR 500,000.00. With the acquisition of a corresponding property, due to the current legal regulations, it is then possible to obtain a residence permit (Residencia) for “non - EU citizen”, their spouse and children under 18 years. It does not matter whether it is a property the investor wants to use for his own living or for rental purposes.
